CMSA Seminar Series

The Centre for Modernism Studies Australia (CMSA) holds a regular monthly research seminar featuring the most recent research into Modernism Studies from a variety of perspectives and methodologies.

In the past, we have hosted Fredric Jameson, Regina Gagnier, Ato Quayson, Laura Marcus, Steven Connor, and many others to present their latest work. The seminar is characteristcally lively, and papers are followed by vigorous Q&A sessions and trips to the local pub for further discussion afterward.

Please contact Julian Murphet at for more information.
